Englewood School Details

  • Englewood is a kindergarten through fifth-grade school with an enrollment that averages around 350 students.
  • Englewood was built it 1910, making it one of the oldest schools in Salem-Keizer currently standing. It was named for the Englewood District. The district may have gotten its name from the area in Los Angeles of the same name, but with a different spelling, Inglewood. Such changes in spelling are not unheard of, for instance Milwaukie, Oregon and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
